Welcome Pancake Bakers!

Thank you for joining the Pannenkoek Ensemble! We are happy you can be part of this musical and tasty banquet. We hope that this will bring us to cook, reflect, listen, and eat together amidst social distancing! Here you will find the guidelines for our rehearsal and performance.

What you need:

  1. The Score/Partituur of the piece. Please click HERE TO DOWNLOAD.
  2. A laptop , phone, or tablet with camera to access Google Meet.
  3. When possible please use a headphones with microphone (not obligatory)
  4. A Google Account to use for Google Meet.
  5. The ingredients and kitchen equipment for making pancakes (Please see the Score)

Procedure

  1. Your role in the partituur is the baker. You will perform all the tasks assigned to the baker. Your tasks and the sequence of these actions are indicated in the score. Here is an example:

2. The conductor (dirigent) will provide the number and a visual symbol so you know which action you should do. This will be projected to your computer/mobile phone screen and it looks like this:

When?

Rehearsal

  • We will rehearse on 22 June (Monday) at 20:00-21:30.
  • A Google Meet link will be sent to you through email on Monday afternoon.
  • We will need a laptop or mobile phone/tablet, the ingredients for baking pancakes, and a copy of the partituur.
  • Optional: If you have headphones with microphone this would be good.

Performance

  • Our performance is on 25 June (Thursday) at 19:00-20:00. But everyone is asked to be ready by 18:15 for soundcheck and preparations.
  • We will need again all the equipment and a new set of ingredients for baking pancakes.
  • The piece itself is about 30-40 minutes long. But you are welcome to stay in case we have public talk.
